Please call, but in general: If you are a Medicare Beneficiary and meet home care criteria, Medicare pays 100% for Home Health. This could include nursing, therapy and a Home Health Aide. Insurance – Many insurances or Medicare replacements also will pay for Home Health Care. With insurance it is always best to call the office to confirm your benefits as soon as possible. Veterans Administration – The VA also pays for home health care.

Spoon River Home Health's home health care services include nursing assessments, wound care, medication management, education, and IV therapy, as well as therapy services -Physical, Occupation and Speech therapies. The Non-Medical side offers 24 hour care, personal care, transportation, companionship, and many more services. Services are set up based on individuals needs. A home visit is made to discuss services, develop a personalized care plan and provide the best possible services to help keep the person safe in their home. Spoon River Home Health also provide emergency response systems for those who are not quite ready for home care but are looking for peace of mind.
