The Stroke Family Warmline connects stroke survivors, their families, and caregivers with an American Stroke Association team member who can provide support, helpful information, or just a listening ear. In addition, in-person support groups are offered in many areas. The American Heart Association provides public education and advocacy focused on heart and blood pressure health in a variety of ways, including through CPR & first aid training, healthy lifestyle information, community organization partnerships & grants (e.g., food pantry storage capacity for nutritional items), and science-based treatment guidelines for healthcare professionals.
