All applicants must meet all the following eligibility requirements: Please note the sliding scale for the match percentage is based on income now rather than a straight 50-50. -Property must be within the boundary of the East Village Growth Cell TIF: https://www.peoriagov.org/DocumentCenter/View/3246/East-Village-Growth-TIF-Program--Map-PDF?bidId= -Must own the property -Must have current homeowners insurance -Must be at or below 120% of the area median income (AMI) by household size -Cannot owe the City any outstanding debt -Cannot have any outstanding code violations in yard or driveway -Must be current on property taxes -Landlords who apply cannot owe any money or have any code violations at any of their properties withing the City of Peoria -HOUSEHOLD EARNINGS UP TO 80% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME (AMI) WITH OWNERS AGED 55 OR OLDER - No match required (Up to $30,000) and must live in the home for three years. -HOUSEHOLDS EARNING UP TO 120% OF AMI - A 25% match is required for exterior projects, with match amount capped at $7,500 for a total project cost of up to $30,000, and must live in home for three tears. -HOUSEHOLDS EARNING MORE THAN 120% AMI - A 50% match is required for external projects, with the match amount capped at $15,000 for a total project cost of up to $30,000.

• NO-OWNER-OCCUPIED HOMES - A 50% match is required for exterior projects, with the match amount capped at$15,000 for a total project cost of up to $30,000.

Homeowners and landlords can apply. This program offers matching grants for eligible projects, with specific guidelines for owner-occupied and non-owner-occupied properties.
