For those affected by the late July and August flooding in Fulton County, this voluntary survey (https://tinyurl.com/fcflood2026) collects information on disaster damages to guide next steps and also allows the person to indicate if they need clean-up or other assistance. It does not guarantee federal assistance, but it should be completed to ensure you are linked with any possible assistance. Your information may be shared with emergency management officials and partner agencies. -Report only on your primary residence. If you rent, focus on personal property and habitability. -Be as accurate as possible; estimates are okay if exact details are unknown. -If your home is inaccessible or unsafe, note that and avoid entering. -Completion time: 10-15 minutes. -If you need help completing the form due to lack of access to a smart phone or computer, please visit your local library. At this time, residents are encouraged to report any flood-related damage online at: https://tinyurl.com/fcflood2026 Residents may also report damage on computers at local libraries in Canton, Cuba, or Fairview. The week of August 31, teams will be working with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to conduct initial damage assessments throughout the County. At this time, individual assistance from FEMA has not been approved for Fulton County. County and state agencies continue to actively work through the process of seeking potential assistance for affected residents. Additionally, there are currently no gift cards being distributed by any agency anywhere in the County. Residents should be cautious of misinformation or unofficial claims regarding assistance.
