-The child must be 18 years of age or younger
-The child must be under the care of a pediatrician
-The case must involve a child with a specific health care need
-The request must be clinically relevant to the health of the child
-The requested expenses must not be covered or denied by the existing insurance provider

Expenses covered:
*Treatment: Clinical procedures, medicine, dental care, therapy, prosthesis, service dogs, etc.
*Equipment: Wheelchairs, movable ramps & stair lifts, assistive technology equipment, care devices, hearing aids, feeding equipment, etc.
*Medical-related travel and lodging costs
*Vehicle modifications: Lifts, ramps and transfer boards
