Eligibility
You could be eligible if you meet the following criteria:
-Live in a single-family home (A single-family home is a free-standing residential building. Single-family homes are designed to be used as a single-dwelling house or duplex.)
-Must be an Ameren Illinois residential customer in Peoria, Tazewell, Vermilion, Macon or Champaign Counties.
-Must be an Ameren Illinois residential customer heating your home with gas or electricity delivered by Ameren Illinois.
-Maximum gross annual household income at or below the amount listed for your area below.
-May be referred by a healthcare organization.

The Healthier Homes Initiative is a no-cost program providing eligible Ameren Illinois residential customers with home upgrades and minor repairs to improve safety, comfort, indoor air quality and overall home health. Eligible customers may receive energy efficiency improvements to their home such as air sealing, insulation, lighting replacement, ventilation and moisture control measures, and other safety measures. Upgrades and minor repairs are based on an assessment conducted by qualified contractors.
