Anyone currently providing care for someone who needs daily assistance due to physical health struggles or any disabling condition. The person receiving care does not need to be a senior.

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions and AgeCentral have partnered to provide the Caregiver Support Group monthly at the Peoria North Branch Library (3001 West Grand Parkway, Peoria 61615). It is a support group for caregivers to help process the emotions that come with caregiving and allows them to connect with others who understand their challenges, share experiences, and learn strategies to care for themselves while caring for others. The Center for Youth and Family Solutions also provides presentations and resources on topics relevant to caregivers--like stress management, navigating care systems, and self-care tools.
