Illinois VINE is a free, secure, and confidential way to access custody status and criminal case information about an offender or defendant. Illinois VINE operates through interfaces with the jail booking system, the Illinois Department of Corrections, the Illinois Department of Human Services, and circuit court clerks throughout the state. Illinois VINE is available online at www.vinelink.com, a public website that allows visitors to search for offender custody and case status. Users can register online for notification of changes in an offender's custody and/or court case status. Notifications are available by email, text messages, phone calls, and through the VINE application for mobile devices. In addition, toll-free phone support is available 24/7/365 for callers who need help locating an offender, registering for notifications, or accessing victim services in their area. Over 200 languages are available via live operator support.

Online support groups take place using a password-protected message board format (not live chat) and are led by professional oncology social workers who offer support and guidance. Groups are held for 15 weeks at a time, and group members must register to join. After completing the registration process (which can take up to 2-3 business days), members can participate by posting in the groups 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Income-based/subsidized housing typically charges approximately 30% of a household's income (if any) in rent and includes a utility allowance to assist with energy bills. Most complexes do not require any income. Some complexes include energy in the rent. Income-based housing can either be open to the general public or targeted to specific populations. Populations for which there can be additional income-based housing opportunities are as follows: -Those age 18+ with a disabling condition (this typically could be a physical, mental, or developmental condition).
