The Fondulac District Library serves East Peoria and provides current, accurate, high demand, and high interest materials primarily to district residents by acquiring, organizing, and disseminating books, non-print materials, and services that help educate, enrich, entertain, and inform.

Schlarman House, located in Peoria, Illinois, offers 75, one-bedroom, income-based apartments for senior citizens (age 62+) and individuals age 18+ with a disabling condition. Units are cable ready and have an emergency call system, air conditioning, and off street parking. Residents at Schlarman House have access to a community room, television room, on-site laundry facility and meal progams. Water and sewer, lawn care, and maintenance also included.

Mother's War On Violence is a 501c3 organization and a podcast hosted by Yolanda Wallace, an Urbana native who lives in Peoria, Illinois. Yolanda lost her son, Jon Buckley, to gun violence in 2006. Her organization and the accompanying podcast aim to help prevent community violence. The podcast is a co-production of WCBU Peoria Public Radio.

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions offers New Day Senior Outreach Services to individuals age 60 and older in Peoria, Tazewell, and Fulton counties. This program consists of providing information on how to get needed services and benefits, assisting in accessing these programs when necessary, and then following up with the senior.

Children's Home serves as the coordinator for services for youth needing intensive emotional support. FSP is a state-funded program that provides access to intensive mental health services and support to youth with a severe emotional disturbance. The goal of the FSP is to support eligible youth and their families by strengthening family stability, improving clinical outcomes, and promoting community-based services. Every youth enrolled in FSP is assigned to a coordinator who provides case management, access to mental health services, additional community support, and residential treatment when it is determined to be medically necessary.
