The Hult Center for Healthy Living is Peoria's largest non-profit provider of comprehensive health education and wellness services for people of all ages. The organization serves the communities of central Illinois through youth health education programs, senior programs, mental health programs, and cancer programs and services.

The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is for families with children and pregnant women who need temporary cash assistance. Those receiving TANF also receive medical assistance. Most TANF families also receive SNAP benefits to buy food.

One of the focuses of the Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is supporting a safety net for caregivers in crisis. The IRC has Emergency Respite funding stipends for caregivers across Illinois in a planned or unplanned emergency. This program provides funding so caregivers can pay for services they choose. Crisis situations that may qualify for the Emergency Respite Program include, but are not limited to the following circumstances: -Caregiver illness (physical, mental, and/or emotional) -Caregiver hospitalization or doctor appointments -Illness of a loved one -Funeral or wake -Drug or alcohol abuse counseling or support -Care recipient transitions (i.e. living arrangements) -Loss of employment or work related situations -Declining Mental Health

The primary focus is on helping parents locate child care which meets the parents' needs, determining whether a family qualifies for assistance in paying for child care, providing training for those who work with young children, recruiting additional child care providers, and providing consultation on health issues in child care programs. Un-biased referrals to providers are done by computer selections that meet the needs of parents. During an initial intake conversation, a Child Care Advisor can help answer questions concerning indicators of quality care, average costs of care, and can help develop an action plan for finding the type of child care that meets a family's needs. Information gathered for each family during the intake process is kept on file and is completely confidential.

Radnor Township Office offers limited assistance for township residents who qualify. Radnor Township primarily covers Dunlap and the western portion of Alta.

Bridgeway's Outpatient Services provide services to all persons referred who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges that are impacting their ability to functioning and reside in the Bridgeway service area. Bridgeway provides a continuum of care with a philosophy of serving persons based on their needs in the least restrictive level of care. Bridgeway provides the following mental health recovery services: -Individual Counseling -Group Counseling -Community Support Services -Psychiatric Services -Medication Monitoring Intake teams are composed of qualified mental health professionals, licensed clinicians and designated program support specialists who are responsible for accepting referrals and completing necessary intake documentation. The Intake Team review referral information, determine eligibility for services, and ensure linkage with Bridgeway service area designed to meet the consumer’s identified mental health needs. Additionally, the intake clinician will work with the consumer to provide linkage and/or information related to resources to meet needs that go beyond the scope of Bridgeway services.

Woodford County Heartline exists to provide financial aid and essential basics for residents of Woodford County who find themselves in a short-term crisis.

Carle Health Methodist Hospital offers acute inpatient mental health care for adults, adolescents, and children.

Blood Cancer United is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Services Include: *Information and referral related to blood cancer diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and survivorship *Patient and caregiver support, including one-on-one guidance from trained information specialists *Financial assistance programs for eligible patients to help with treatment-related expenses (availability and eligibility vary) *Educational resources, webinars, and support groups for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals *Advocacy and research funding focused on improving treatments and outcomes for people with blood cancers Services are provided at no cost and are available nationwide via phone and online.

The Henry County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will implement a comprehensive all hazards emergency management program using sound risk management principles that will improve responder safety, interoperability, quality of life while minimizing adverse effects through mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery activities. The Single Family Housing Repair Loans & Grants program through the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development division is also known as the Section 504 Home Repair program. It has two branches: 1. The program provides loans to very low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their homes. 2. It also offers grants to elderly, very low-income homeowners to remove health and safety hazards. How may funds be used? -Loans may be used to repair, improve, or modernize homes; or remove health and safety hazards -Grants must be used to remove health and safety hazards ---------------------------------- How much money is available? -Maximum loan is $40,000 -Maximum grant is $10,000 -Loans and grants can be combined for up to $50,000 in assistance

The Center for Prevention of Abuse is the only agency in the State of Illinois to provide combined services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and elder/disabled adult abuse. The Center also reaches students age pre-K through college with violence prevention education, as well as abusers with an abuser re-education program.

Trillium Place Pekin, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services for adults and adolescents ages 13-17. DUI evaluations and related services are also available at this location. The Graham Health System mental/behavioral health care staff includes Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP), a Licensed Clinical Practice Counselor (LCPC), and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). These professionals provide support to adults, teens, and children seeking diagnosis, short or long-term treatment (including medication, when appropriate), and management of mental and emotional health challenges. Services are offered, by appointment, at the Canton, Elmwood, Farmington, Macomb, and Lewistown locations.
