Trillium Place Pekin, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services for adults and adolescents ages 13-17. DUI evaluations and related services are also available at this location. Walk-in assessments are available Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Call Trillium Place Pekin or the Trillium Place Access Center to learn more about available services or schedule an appointment. Age Central is a private, not for profit service agency serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, family caregivers, and grandparents raising grandchildren. One of 13 Area Agencies on Aging in Illinois and one of over 728 in the United States, CIAA is authorized by the Older Americans Act of 1965 as amended, Illinois Act on Aging, and the Illinois Department on Aging to provide services in Fulton, Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, Woodford counties.

The Salvation Army is an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. It offers numerous assistance programs for those in need. ------------------ 2026 Warming & Cooling Center Information: Open as a warming or cooling center during extreme temperatures. The Salvation Army's building is at 243 Derby St. in Pekin, and The Pekin Outreach Initiative is housed on the East Side of this building. The Pekin Outreach Initiative portion is open from 11am-4pm, Monday through Sunday, for people to drop in and warm up/cool off. The Salvation Army shelter in the gym at the same location is open overnight 5pm-10:30am, Monday through Sunday, for warming or cooling. Usually limited to 10-15 people at most for this purpose.

St. Francis Woods is an Illinois-certified supportive living facility in Peoria, Illinois. It provides an alternative to nursing home care for individuals age 65 and over with low incomes because it accepts Medicaid. Private pay residents are welcomed as well. As a participant in the state's Supportive Living Program,the facility offers personalized care and individual attention to all residents while providing them with the services they need to remain independent. The campus is nestled on 7 wooded acres, providing a an opportunity to observe wildlife and enjoy the changing scenery throughout the year.

Peoria County Bright Futures offers several programs for children, age four and under, and their parents; as well as for expectant parents. Among the most prominent programs are preschool and home visiting. Preschool locations include Farmington, Elmwood, Dunlap, Illini Bluffs, Norwood, Oak Grove, Peoria Heights, Pleasant Hill and Princeville. Special education services are offered as well.

The Children's Home Association offers behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents, as well as services to the family. Any youth between the ages of 3-20 years old in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties with emotional and behavioral challenges and who are Medicaid eligible can receive in-home therapy. Therapists work closely with the youth to reduce emotional stress and improve interpersonal relationships at home, school, and in the community. Goals are addressed and managed through assessment and diagnosis, individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and psychiatric services as appropriate.

Women's Care Center is faith-based organization that offers free, confidential counseling, support, and education to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Services include confirmation of pregnancy and ultrasounds, but the center does not provide ongoing prenatal care or abortions. In addition to the listed services, the Women's Care Center offers the following program: Crib Club/BABE The Crib Club/BABE program provides cribs, diapers, clothing and other baby items under an incentive system that rewards participation in parenting classes, prenatal care and other programs. Coupons are provided which can be redeemed at the Crib Club stores.
