Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not for profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.

The OSF Strive Trauma Recovery Program provides trauma-informed therapy, case management, and legal advocacy services for individuals age 6 and up in Peoria County who are survivors of, witnesses to, or family members of survivors (or victims in cases of murder) of violent crime. Services are offered at several locations, including OSF Hospital and Emergency Department, OSF Outpatient office (214Pecan St., Peoria 61602), Manual Academy (and some other Peoria Public Schools), Wrap-Around Center in Trewyn, and in homes and other locations as needed.

PACE is a Medicare and Medicaid risk-based care program that offers comprehensive, team-based medical and social services for seniors through collaborating health care agencies, allowing older older adults to age at home (as opposed to entering a nursing facility). With food allergies on the rise, and a lack of support across the country, food allergy families Kevin/Lindsey Spangler and Chris/Megan Horan of Peoria, IL came together to start Allergy Awareness for Children Everywhere (AACE Peoria), a FARE-recognized food allergy support group. Their group's mission of providing lifesaving food allergy support, education, advocacy, and research to the community has led them to collaborate with Red Sneakers for Oakley (RSFO). RSFO's focus is saving lives through educating and advocating for individuals with food allergies. The similar missions and the desire to organize other fragmented groups across the country sparked the collaboration. The group centered in Peoria Heights, IL is the first Red Sneakers for Oakley Chapter in the country. ===================================== Current Efforts: *Food allergy awareness education and training: Food allergy training certified by FARECheck, ServSafe. The purpose of Emergency Management Agency is to mitigate potential hazards, plan for, coordinate, respond to and aid in recovery from all disaster situations whether natural or man-made. Woodford County Emergency Management Agency (WEMA) provides disaster response coordination for all unincorporated areas of Woodford County and coordinates between the State of Illinois and any incorporated area of the county during disaster events.

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) - Division of Environmental Health protects public health by overseeing programs that address environmental hazards, food safety, and waste disposal. Its work includes ensuring safe food through inspections, protecting water and sewage systems, and preventing diseases by monitoring vector-borne illnesses, chemical exposures, and other environmental risks. Boys & Girls Clubs Families 2000 is a "Parent as Teachers" affiliate. The program is focused on preparing children age newborn to three for the academic system through family empowerment strategies such as enhancing parenting skills, counseling, home visitation, healthy living skills guidance, developmental screening, and creative activities to empower families to manage everyday life changes. There are no fees associated with participation in this program.

Living By Your Design Inc. assists seniors and disabled individuals, as well as their families, in finding appropriate home care, independent living, assisted living, and nursing homes; and in navigating questions regarding disability, senior, and veterans benefits. The office is able to provide expert guidance on Social Security questions. Among the case management services offered by Living by Your Design are one on one case management with a nurse, as well as bill paying assistance.

The George Washington Carver Center offers community outreach and improvement programs in the areas of fine arts and humanities, recreation, education, preventive care, and family.

The purpose of Peoria Mothers of Twins (PMOT) is to support mothers of multiples. PMOT members try to meet monthly. PMOT also has a private Facebook group where members can reach out for advice and support 24/7.
