Children's Home serves as the coordinator for services for youth needing intensive emotional support. FSP is a state-funded program that provides access to intensive mental health services and support to youth with a severe emotional disturbance. The goal of the FSP is to support eligible youth and their families by strengthening family stability, improving clinical outcomes, and promoting community-based services. Every youth enrolled in FSP is assigned to a coordinator who provides case management, access to mental health services, additional community support, and residential treatment when it is determined to be medically necessary. A caseworker will meet with individuals for one hour per week and provide case management that includes setting and achieving goals, personalized plans, and a network of support and resources.

The Warm Line presents an opportunity in Illinois for persons with mental health and substance use challenges and their families to receive support by phone. Peer and Family Support Specialists are professionals who have experienced mental health and substance use recovery in their own lives as an individual or family member. They have been trained in recovery support, mentoring, and advocacy and are ready to listen and help you. The warm line is not a crisis hotline, but is a source of support.
