Habitat for Humanity ReStores are non-profit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build Habitat homes.

OSF Saint Francis - Behavioral & Mental Health offers comprehensive outpatient and more limited inpatient behavioral & psychiatric services for adults. For comprehensive behavioral health service linkage (including outside of the OSF network), please also check with OSF Behavioral Health Navigators (309-308-8150). The service is free.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) helps Illinois students afford college by providing financial aid (grants, scholarships, waivers, loan programs), offering free college and financial planning guidance, and administering programs like the Monetary Award Program (MAP) and the College Illinois! prepaid tuition plan, all to make higher education accessible and manageable.

The Gateway Foundation's Peoria location provides outpatient psychiatric care and substance use treatment (and linkage with/transportation to inpatient treatment at their other Illinois locations) for people age 18+. Additionally, the location offers mental health services to patients who may require individual therapy or medication management, regardless of whether or not they have a substance use condition.

Solvera Health is a comprehensive care center located in Peoria. Solvera partners with many community organizations to provide access to healthcare. Services include on-site pharmacy, physical therapy, labs, and diagnostics. Complimentary transportation is also offered.

The Fulton County Health Department offers a variety of public health services. Also, there is a Free Overdose Prevention Vending Machine located just inside the front doors, available during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is a nonprofit serving people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Callers receive personalized information about multiple sclerosis and connections to local and national resources related to MS. Service coordinators and peer counselors can talk through needs, answer questions, and help find the right support. Through the helpline, people with MS can also learn about and apply for a variety of support programs (eligibility usually requires an MS diagnosis), such as *Emergency Assistance Grant -- financial help for urgent needs like rent or utility bills (documentation required) *Healthcare Assistance Grant -- helps uninsured individuals pay for neurologist or dental visits *Homecare Assistance Grant – short-term homecare, caregiver respite, therapy services *Transportation Assistance Grant – funding for paratransit or rides to medical appointments (Lyft/Uber) and minor car repairs *Assistive Technology Program – info and partial funding for devices that aid daily living (e.g., canes, adaptive tech) *Computer Program – provides computers to help people with MS stay connected. *Cooling Program – cooling vests and accessories for heat sensitivity. In addition, the helpline can connect callers to peer counseling, advice on local support groups, and online communities.

Perinatal Mental Health conditions are the number one complication of childbearing and affect not only the pregnant person but also other family members, including dads and partners. The PSI HelpLine is a toll-free telephone number anyone can call to get basic information, support, and resources. The HelpLine is not a crisis hotline and does not handle emergencies. If you or anyone else are in danger, please call 911. You are welcome to leave a confidential message any time, and one of the HelpLine volunteers will return your call as soon as possible. If you are not able to talk when the volunteer calls you, you can arrange another time to connect. The volunteer will give you information, encouragement, and names of resources near you.
