Children's Home offers a family focused, strengths-based care coordination and wrap-around service for youth with complex behavioral health needs. Children's Home is the Care Coordination and Support Organization (CCSO) for Pathways to Success in Central Illinois, serving as a centralized leader with a dedicated and trained team of coordinators that offer support to clients and families. Pathways is a program for Medicaid-enrolled youth under the age of 21 in Illinois who have complex behavioral health needs and could benefit from additional support. Care coordinators collaborate closely with community services to help build supports in the home, school, and community. The goal of the Pathways program is to improve family functioning, reduce caregiver stress, provide stability for at-risk youth in the home, improve school attendance, and reduce hospitalization. Tenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee of the Public Interest Law Initiative's (PILI) Self-Represented Litigant Help Desk The Help Desk is staffed virtually by pro bono attorneys who provide brief advice referrals, and limited scope representation to eligible self-represented litigants for approximately 30 minutes per litigant at designated areas in the Peoria and Tazewell County Courthouses. To be eligible for assistance, the self-represented litigant must meet the following criteria: -The litigant must be proceeding in the matter for which they are seeking assistance on a self­-represented basis and not be receiving the assistance of an attorney in the matter; -The litigant’s household must be within 200% of federal poverty guidelines; and -The litigant must not have received assistance through the Help Desk previously on this matter.

It is a support group for caregivers to help process the emotions that come with caregiving and allows them to connect with others who understand their challenges, share experiences, and learn strategies to care for themselves while caring for others. The Center for Youth and Family Solutions also provides presentations and resources on topics relevant to caregivers--like stress management, navigating care systems, and self-care tools.

The Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is a not-for-profit organization of caregivers and respite providers dedicated to advocating support for families by ensuring access to quality respite services for the residents of Illinois. The IRC is dedicated to spreading the awareness of lifespan respite for caregivers of individuals with special needs. The IRC is able to assist caregivers by connecting them to resources in their area, providing training on respite topics, and offering funding for emergency respite care.
