MSW Projects' Meals on Wheels program provides home-delivered meals and congregate meal sites for individuals age 60 and over, as well as certain individuals under age 60 with disabilities. In Marshall County, MSW Projects' Meals on Wheels program delivers to Lacon, Toluca, Henry, Varna, Sparland, and Wenona. In Stark County, the service delivers to Bradford, Wyoming, Toulon, and LaFayette. In Woodford County, MSW Projects delivers to Low Point, Metamora, Roanoke, and Washburn. There are two congregate meal sites in Stark County: Bradford and Toulon.

Peoria Jobs Partnership is a Christian mentoring program for people who might be experiencing problems getting gainful employment. For the general public, there is the Community Program. The curriculum includes 12 classes, taught by different community professionals over a 12-week period. Students are required to complete homework for each class, and are awarded a certificate of completion at the end of the program. The Community Program allows students access to great instructor/ practitioners, and allows them contacts with community leaders that can act as advocates for them when they seek employment. Additional programs, such as Solar Training and the Fresh Start Workshop, are offered for individuals with a felony in their background and those re-entering society from incarceration. Trained Helpline Specialists answer questions, provide support, and connect the caller with services in Illinois. ---------------------------------------- The Illinois Helpline also offers medication on demand to IL residents seeking treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD). Medication-assisted recovery (MAR) involves the use of FDA-approved medications for treatment of OUD and AUD. Now an individual can speak directly with a provider over the phone, immediately receive a prescription or expedited, in-person appointment, and get transportation assistance to the pharmacy or clinic- all initiated through one phone call. Callers can access MAR NOW 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Care managers help callers determine their best treatment options and connect them to a provider for an immediate telephone appointment and medication prescription. Care coordinators can also facilitate a same- or next-day, in-person appointment. All callers are connected to ongoing treatment with a community provider that best meets their needs.

The Stark County Good Samaritan Fund accepts applications from working families in the area that have needs beyond their means to pay. The Fund provides stop gap assistance to get them back on their feet and can potentially assist with a variety of services. About one third of all funds will be used to pay utility bills. Another one third will pay for housing, rent or mortgage payments. The final third will end up going for everything from medical services, to car mufflers. The aim is to keep the people in their present homes, to keep their car working so they can get to work, and to get them needed medical attention so that they can work. The Fund has a board that determines who qualifies for help and how much help can be provided. The board also governs all other aspects of the organization.

One of the focuses of the Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is supporting a safety net for caregivers in crisis. The IRC has Emergency Respite funding stipends for caregivers across Illinois in a planned or unplanned emergency. This program provides funding so caregivers can pay for services they choose.
