Spoon River Home Health's home health care services include nursing assessments, wound care, medication management, education, and IV therapy, as well as therapy services -Physical, Occupation and Speech therapies. The Non-Medical side offers 24 hour care, personal care, transportation, companionship, and many more services. Services are set up based on individuals needs. A home visit is made to discuss services, develop a personalized care plan and provide the best possible services to help keep the person safe in their home. Spoon River Home Health also provide emergency response systems for those who are not quite ready for home care but are looking for peace of mind.

The Moonlight Coalition for Adult Learning focuses on providing easy access to GED education for those seeking to earn their high school diploma. At this time, Moonlight provides GED and adult literacy education at Logan Recreation Center, along with other locations as needed. Individuals can drop into a class at any time. There is no cost at all to attend these classes and all supplies are provided. Moonlight Coalition honors its graduates with a cap and gown graduation ceremony twice a year.

Carle Health - Trillium Place Crisis Services - Peoria County (ERS) assists individuals in Peoria County experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder related crisis. For life-threatening concerns, please call 911 or be taken to your nearest emergency department. Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not for profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.

The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Veterans and their loved ones can call 988 or 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available. The responders at the Veterans Crisis Line are specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances. Some of the responders are Veterans themselves.

Heartland Health Services is a federally funded organization that provides medical, mental health, and substance use services for everyone, including low-income adults and children, regardless of ability to pay. Heartland provides services out of The Salvation Army location at 417 NE Adams St., Suite 101, Peoria 61603 as follows- Family Medicine: Tuesdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Behavioral Health Services: Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For care throughout the week, including after hours, please call 309.680.7600 or visit www.HHSIL.com. Heartland Health Services offers several locations in Peoria and Pekin.

ADDWC offers a variety of residential services which promote independent living and are based upon an individual's needs. Twenty-four supports are offerered in a small, group home setting (4-8 individuals). For those who wish to remain in their home, staff can provide intermittent supports including assistance with banking, shopping, community access and daily living skills. All residential services are funded through the Department of Human Services.

Mended Hearts Therapeutic Center provides, promotes, and supports equine-specialized interventions in the areas of therapy and education. In addition to therapeutic approaches involving horses, Mended Hearts offers canine-assisted therapy and traditional talk therapies.

TCRC offers a wide array of programs and services that benefit persons with developmental disabilities and visual impairments who live and work in our community.

Phoenix Community Development Services' PATH program provides outreach and support to individuals in Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, and Fulton counties who are experiencing homelessness and have a serious mental illness and/or substance abuse condition.

DRS works in partnership with people with disabilities and their families to assist them in making informed choices to achieve full community participation through employment, education, and independent living opportunities.

In Illinois, child support services are administered by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services- Division of Child Support Services (DCSS). DCSS helps custodial parents: -Locate the parent who does not live with the child(ren) (referred to as the noncustodial parent or NCP); -Legally establish paternity (the child's father) if the parents are not married; -Get an order for child support and/or health insurance; -Collect payments on an already established child support order; -Change the amount of a child support order (also known as a modification); and -Collect past-due child support payments.

The Center for Prevention of Abuse is the only agency in the State of Illinois to provide combined services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and elder/disabled adult abuse. The Center also reaches students age pre-K through college with violence prevention education, as well as abusers with an abuser re-education program.
