Peoria County Triad is a safety organization that focuses on reducing crime victimization of seniors. This is a combined effort between the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, Peoria Police Department, and other agencies in the community that work in senior services. The areas of concern covered include identity theft, scams, personal safety, home safety, and elder abuse.

The mission of Suzan Ortman Caregiver Support is to provide informative and educational support meetings for caregivers in the El Paso community, as well as to encourage peer group discussions, allowing caregivers to openly share their experiences and journeys. CCSI - Case Coordination, LLC is a non-profit organization that serves as a Case Coordination Unit for the Community Care Program, contracted by the Illinois Department on Aging, for Peoria County (ACM Care covers the City of Peoria) and Fulton County. CCSI will initially provide a care coordinator to visit the home and conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the needs of the person. The coordinator will then work with the person and family members to the link the person with needed services and resources. These can include in-home services, adult day care, home delivered or congregate meals, transportation options, assistive devices, and more.

The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is for families with children and pregnant women who need temporary cash assistance. Those receiving TANF also receive medical assistance. Most TANF families also receive SNAP benefits to buy food.
