The Share Closet is a community resale store carrying a variety of clothing, kitchen supplies, furniture, decor, toys, books, and much more. The Share Closet also collects medical supplies, bedding, kitchen, and baby supplies to give to those in need. The site operates as a thrift store but provides certificates for individuals who cannot afford needed items.

Children's Home can provide Tri-County students with therapy to help address social, emotional, and mental health needs. Children's Home collaborates with Peoria Public Schools, Washington, Central District 51, and Pekin Public Schools, and provides full-time counselors in various schools to offer students therapy services. Individuals are referred to the program by staff members, teachers, parents/caregivers, or the school counselor. Once the client is identified and deemed appropriate for services, attempts are made to engage their parent or guardian for in-home family counseling services, case management, and community referrals

Ameren Illinois will send the customer written confirmation that it received the customer’s Claim Form shortly after receiving a claim. 2. Ameren Illinois will determine whether the claim arises from a qualifying interruption, outage, surge, or other fluctuation. Ameren Illinois will determine whether it believes any of the statutory exemptions apply. If none of the exemptions applies, the claim will be processed. If one or more of the exemptions apply, then Ameren Illinois may deny the claim or request a waiver from the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC). Ameren Illinois will inform the customer of the waiver request, and that the processing of the claim will be stayed until the ICC makes a decision. 1. If the ICC grants Ameren Illinois’ waiver request, then Ameren Illinois will inform the customer that it is not liable for the customer’s claim. 2. If the ICC denies Ameren Illinois’ request and the decision is not appealed, then Ameren Illinois will process the customer’s claim and provide additional notice to customers who may have been affected by the qualifying event. 3. Ameren Illinois will communicate its proposed resolution of the claim to the customer. Typical claims are resolved within 90 days (excluding any time that claims were held pending an ICC or court decision) after Ameren Illinois has received a completed Claim Form with the required proof of damage. One of the focuses of the Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is supporting a safety net for caregivers in crisis. The IRC has Emergency Respite funding stipends for caregivers across Illinois in a planned or unplanned emergency. This program provides funding so caregivers can pay for services they choose. Crisis situations that may qualify for the Emergency Respite Program include, but are not limited to the following circumstances: -Caregiver illness (physical, mental, and/or emotional) -Caregiver hospitalization or doctor appointments -Illness of a loved one -Funeral or wake -Drug or alcohol abuse counseling or support -Care recipient transitions (i.e. living arrangements) -Loss of employment or work related situations -Declining Mental Health

Trillium Place The Knolls, an affiliate of Carle Health, is a residential recovery home program providing substance use disorder treatment services for adult men 18 and older. Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not for profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.

Dream Center Peoria offers a 24/7 emergency shelter that includes snacks, showers, a bed to sleep in, breakfast, lunch, dinner, job readiness assistance, case management services, and storage (not for furniture). Phones can be utilized for job interviews. Day services also include showers and cooling/warming center availability for their eligible population (single women; mothers with children; single fathers with children; couples with and without children; and other family units) even if they are not staying at the Dream Center.
