The Fulton County Health Department offers a variety of public health services. Also, there is a Free Overdose Prevention Vending Machine located just inside the front doors, available during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Since 1983, Freedom House has provided a safe and free haven for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. It serves the residents of Bureau, Henry, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark Counties in Illinois and is supported by public, corporate, and private funds. In addition to shelter services, Freedom House provides domestic and sexual violence prevention programs, prevention programs for grade school and high school students, medical and legal advocacy, and volunteer support.

Smart Start is a free program for women and girls who are pregnant or who have young children. Smart Start can help clients connect to services in Peoria County such as- -Housing -Transportation -Counseling -Shelters -Food programs -Medical care referrals -Education -Prenatal, postpartum, and infant care education Who gets to receive Smart Start's free services? You can receive help from Smart Start at no cost if: -You are pregnant or have an infant under age 1, and -You live in Peoria County, and -You qualify under the state's income guidelines How does Smart Start work? The Smart Start team will work with clients to help them determine the services they need and then assist them in connecting with the service providers. No transportation? No problem. Smart Start case managers do home visits Monday through Friday. *Smart Start can potentially assist their clients with cribs, pack 'n plays, and car seats.

Must align with Comfort Keepers' services (non-medical in-home assistance). They are very flexible in making this work. For example, a disabled individual or a senior might call about a ride to an appointment and Comfort Keepers could make this possible by seeing if the person would like to have his or laundry done, which would involve them for non-medical in-home assistance and allow them to provide the transportation.

The Center for Sight & Hearing's Morton Office is dedicated to vision rehabilitation. Services include Orientation & Mobility training, Braille instruction, low vision aids and devices, independent living skills, and support groups.

Hooked on Fishing is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides fishing opportunities for the community, with a focus on children, senior citizens, and special needs groups. All fishing is “catch and release." Equipment and bait is provided. Instruction includes- -Safety -The basics of using a rod and reel -Fishing techniques -Baiting a hook -Landing the catch -Handling the fish -Removing hooks -Fish identification Beyond the basics, teaching can cover fish biology, knot tying, fishing ethics, fishing techniques and good fishing sportsmanship. Hooked on Fishing is happy to work with teachers, scout masters, and group leaders to custom design instructional programs that meet their specific educational objectives. Because of the importance of artesian wells in supplying water to to Hooked on Fishing's ponds, instruction can also be provided on aquifers, artesian wells, and water quality issues. Enthusiastic volunteers are able to provide much one-on-one help, guidance, and instruction to novice anglers.

Trillium Place on Jefferson, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric assessment, medication management, counseling, and community mental health services. Safe2HelpIL offers students a safe, confidential way in which to share information that might help prevent suicides, bullying, school violence or other threats to school safety. This program is not intended to suspend, expel, or punish students. Rather, the goal is to encourage students to "Seek Help Before Harm." Safe2HelpIL is a 24/7 program where students can use a free app, text/phone, and website (Safe2HelpIL.com) to share information on school safety issues in a confidential environment. Once vetted, the information provided will be shared with local district and school officials and/or local PSAP/9-1-1 call center, depending on the nature of the information shared. The Safe2Help program is a confidential help line. Reporters will be encouraged to provide their name and contact information, but it is not a requirement. Information received by Safe2Help is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reporting rules and can only be accessed under limited conditions by a court order.

Positive Health Solutions provides a wide variety of services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and the LGBTQ+ population, as well as certain outreach/prevention programs for the general public*. Some patients may receive a HealthWell Pharmacy Card in their approval letter. For patients with a HealthWell Pharmacy Card, you would run the claim through ALL OTHER INSURANCES FIRST, then run the claim using the HealthWell Pharmacy Card.
