Trillium Place Crisis Center, an affiliate of Carle Health, assists individuals in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder related crisis. Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not for profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. Benefits are provided on the Illinois Link Card - an electronic card that is accepted at most grocery stores. The program is managed by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture. The Department of Human Services administers the program in Illinois.

The Arc of Illinois Family-to-Family Health Information Center works with families and professionals to assist with questions and concerns related to the health of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and disabilities under the age of 22. The Information Center can answer questions regarding Medicaid, SSI, insurance, Medicaid waivers, disability programs, special education, and anything else related to a child’s health or disability.

PACE is a Medicare and Medicaid risk-based care program that offers comprehensive, team-based medical and social services for seniors through collaborating health care agencies, allowing older older adults to age at home (as opposed to entering a nursing facility). Equip For Equality advances the civil rights of people with disabilities through legal services, public policy, monitoring and training. It also administers the State of Illinois Client Assistance Program (CAP), which helps people with disabilities receive quality services by advocating for their interests and helping them identify resources, understand procedures, resolve problems, and protect their rights in the rehabilitation process, employment, and home services.

The Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is a not-for-profit organization of caregivers and respite providers dedicated to advocating support for families by ensuring access to quality respite services for the residents of Illinois. The IRC is dedicated to spreading the awareness of lifespan respite for caregivers of individuals with special needs. The IRC is able to assist caregivers by connecting them to resources in their area, providing training on respite topics, and offering funding for emergency respite care.

In addition to housing city governmental bodies, the Farmington City Building serves as a cooling or warming center for area residents in extreme weather. For after-hours needs, please contact the Farmington Police Department's non-emergency line at 309-245-2426 to reach the officer on duty.
