Specifically, to repair credit problems, home purchasing, spending vs. savings issues, tuition assistance, utility cost relief, and more. The FOC tailors’ the unique financial situation of citizens to the resources required to make a financial “Fresh Start.” The program, supported by LISC, helps low-to-moderate income families and individuals achieve financial stability by implementing the integrated services approach. This approach is a new way to offer four core services: 1. Financial coaching and education to help build assets 2. Employment and career development 3. Better access to public benefits 4. Life skills training This strategy creates new opportunities for individuals and helps connect employers to well-prepared workers. Open to all Peoria and Tri-County residents.

Dental Lifeline Network provides these services through a national network of direct service programs that involve 15,000 volunteer dentists and 3,200 volunteer labs. Typically, the patient will not receive treatment the same day that he or she applies, so this is not the best option for a dental emergency.

There is no cost at all to attend these classes and all supplies are provided. Moonlight Coalition honors its graduates with a cap and gown graduation ceremony twice a year!

One of the focuses of the Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) is supporting a safety net for caregivers in crisis. The IRC has Emergency Respite funding stipends for caregivers across Illinois in a planned or unplanned emergency. This program provides funding so caregivers can pay for services they choose. Crisis situations that may qualify for the Emergency Respite Program include, but are not limited to the following circumstances: -Caregiver illness (physical, mental, and/or emotional) -Caregiver hospitalization or doctor appointments -Illness of a loved one -Funeral or wake -Drug or alcohol abuse counseling or support -Care recipient transitions (i.e. living arrangements) -Loss of employment or work related situations -Declining Mental Health
