Since 1983, Freedom House has provided a safe and free haven for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. It serves the residents of Bureau, Henry, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark Counties in Illinois and is supported by public, corporate, and private funds. In addition to shelter services, Freedom House provides domestic and sexual violence prevention programs, prevention programs for grade school and high school students, medical and legal advocacy, and volunteer support.

Community Needs Agency in Chillicothe is an all-volunteer resource center that serves residents of Illinois Valley Central School District 321 (Chillicothe, Rome, Mossville area). All programs and services are income-based. A couple of service clarifications: -Emergency food can be provided as available to clients by appointment only. -One aspect of energy assistance is LIHEAP application assistance, offered by appointment only for clients.

MSAA provides these products at no charge and ships directly to the client. National outreach for America’s Gold Star Families includes our Children’s Greeting Card Program. We send birthday cards along with a $20 gift card to over 500 children of the fallen across the USA. AGSF partnered with the Sgt. Anthony R. Maddox Memorial to host the first Fallen Heroes Tree of Honor erected in the Illinois State Capitol, Springfield, Illinois.
