TASC's Adult Criminal Justice Services (ACJS) program is for adults with non-violent felonies in the State of Illinois who have a substance abuse condition.

It Takes A Village of Peoria is aimed at collaborating with organizations, parents, students, teaching personnel, and citizens to support students' academic success. The organization offers a "Village" store inside of Peoria area schools that provides free clothing, school supplies, and food. Assistance is also occasionally available for adults in the general public.

ACM Care is a non-profit organization that serves as a Case Coordination Unit for the Community Care Program, contracted by the Illinois Department on Aging, for the City of Peoria, Tazewell County, Woodford County, Marshall County, and Stark County. ACM will initially provide a care coordinator to visit the home and conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the needs of the person. The coordinator will then work with the person and family members to the link the person with needed services and resources. These can include in-home services, adult day care, home delivered or congregate meals, transportation options, assistive devices, and more.

Central Illinois FRIENDS supports members of the LGBTQI+ Community, people living with HIV, and the general public through compassionate and personalized care. Services include outpatient medication assisted treatment (methadone and buprenorphine) and outpatient counseling. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is a nonprofit serving people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Callers receive personalized information about multiple sclerosis and connections to local and national resources related to MS. Service coordinators and peer counselors can talk through needs, answer questions, and help find the right support. Through the helpline, people with MS can also learn about and apply for a variety of support programs (eligibility usually requires an MS diagnosis), such as *Emergency Assistance Grant -- financial help for urgent needs like rent or utility bills (documentation required) *Healthcare Assistance Grant -- helps uninsured individuals pay for neurologist or dental visits *Homecare Assistance Grant – short-term homecare, caregiver respite, therapy services *Transportation Assistance Grant – funding for paratransit or rides to medical appointments (Lyft/Uber) and minor car repairs *Assistive Technology Program – info and partial funding for devices that aid daily living (e.g., canes, adaptive tech) *Computer Program – provides computers to help people with MS stay connected. *Cooling Program – cooling vests and accessories for heat sensitivity. In addition, the helpline can connect callers to peer counseling, advice on local support groups, and online communities.

Tazewell Woodford Head Start is a federally funded program that empowers families and promotes school readiness in preschool-age children. Tazewell Woodford Head Start serves approximately 350 families in the surrounding communities. Teachers follow a developmentally-appropriate curriculum based on the Head Start Framework and Illinois Learning Standards.

The Health & Wellness Connection of Fulton County (HWCFC) is a care management facility that works closely with Graham Health System to provide qualified individuals with low or no cost health services. Individuals who need assistance with things like medications, diabetic & other medical supplies, vision and dental care, and transportation for medical care may qualify for financial assistance. Individuals who do not qualify may seek assistance for referrals to other appropriate organizations.

The Hult Center for Healthy Living is Peoria's largest non-profit provider of comprehensive health education and wellness services for people of all ages. The organization serves the communities of central Illinois through youth health education programs, senior programs, mental health programs, and cancer programs and services.
