Peoria City/County Health Department offers mother and infant care.

A 24 hour crisis intervention program which provides services to runaway youth, and youth that are locked out of their homes or refuse to return home. Temporary foster care may be used as well as mediation and short term counseling. STREET OUTREACH For young adults ages 16-24 years of age who are living in unstable and non-traditional living arrangements. Youth are linked to area services, taught independent living skills, and aided in finding jobs. It is the goal of YSB to keep youth off the streets and safe.

DSCC, governed by Administrative Rules, helps children with disabilities, and those who have conditions which may lead to disabilities, grow and develop to the full extent of their abilities.

First Hand Foundation is a public 501(c)(3) organization that provides funding for individual children—both domestically and globally—who need assistance with clinical necessities (such as surgery, medication and therapy), medical equipment and travel related to care. The Health & Wellness Connection of Fulton County (HWCFC) is a care management facility that works closely with Graham Health System to provide qualified individuals with low or no cost health services. Individuals who need assistance with things like medications, diabetic & other medical supplies, vision and dental care, and transportation for medical care may qualify for financial assistance. Individuals who do not qualify may seek assistance for referrals to other appropriate organizations.

Tazewell County Health Department offers infant and child safety education.

The Canton Township Office offers emergency assistance for eligible residents. Emergency Assistance consists of a one-time payment for eviction notices and power/water shut offs. The maximum grant for this program is up to $500. The person/household will have to apply for township general assistance first; and if they do not qualify, they will then be screened for emergency assistance. The household's monthly income must be BELOW $700.
