The Heartland offers income-based housing for those 62 years of age and older OR 18 or older with mobility disabilities (has to be someone who would benefit from an accessible unit).

St. Francis Woods is an Illinois-certified supportive living facility in Peoria, Illinois. It provides an alternative to nursing home care for individuals age 65 and over with low incomes because it accepts Medicaid. Private pay residents are welcomed as well. As a participant in the state's Supportive Living Program,the facility offers personalized care and individual attention to all residents while providing them with the services they need to remain independent. The campus is nestled on 7 wooded acres, providing a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife and enjoy the changing scenery throughout the year.

The VFW National Home provides supportive services and stable housing for military and veteran families experiencing housing challenges. Families participate in a structured, three-phase program designed to promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Services include safe housing, educational support, veteran transition resources, employment and job-training assistance, and community-building programs. The National Home works with each family to develop individualized goals and provides ongoing case management to support their progress.
