Mother's War On Violence is a 501c3 organization and a podcast hosted by Yolanda Wallace, an Urbana native who lives in Peoria, Illinois. Yolanda lost her son, Jon Buckley, to gun violence in 2006. Her organization and the accompanying podcast aim to help prevent community violence. The podcast is a co-production of WCBU Peoria Public Radio.

Safe2HelpIL offers students a safe, confidential way in which to share information that might help prevent suicides, bullying, school violence or other threats to school safety. This program is not intended to suspend, expel, or punish students. Rather, the goal is to encourage students to "Seek Help Before Harm."
Safe2HelpIL is a 24/7 program where students can use a free app, text/phone, and website (Safe2HelpIL.com) to share information on school safety issues in a confidential environment. Once vetted, the information provided will be shared with local district and school officials and/or local PSAP/9-1-1 call center, depending on the nature of the information shared.
The Safe2Help program is a confidential help line. Reporters will be encouraged to provide their name and contact information, but it is not a requirement. Information received by Safe2Help is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reporting rules and can only be accessed under limited conditions by a court order.

The Children's Advocacy Center is a safe, comfortable facility where children can discuss the abuse in a compassionate, non-threatening, and child-friendly environment.
We work together as a team with law enforcement, child protection agencies, prosecution, advocates, counselors, and medical professionals to evaluate and investigate cases of child abuse while reducing the trauma to children and families.
