At Visiting Angels, we view palliative care as a philosophy of care. This is not a ‘program’ we admit our clients to, but is in fact how we care for all our clients. The Visiting Angels Palliative Care Certification Program was developed to train our caregivers to provide care that is supportive, soothing, comforting, and attends to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our clients. Through our continuum of care services, we are able to provide quality, competent, and supportive care that enriches the lives of those we serve. Visiting Angels has adopted a palliative care philosophy that integrates best practices to effectively support our clients and their families.
