These grants are meant to cover necessary medical treatments for certain serious conditions and emergency services. Grants are not available for spay or neuter surgeries, dental work, preventative care, ongoing treatments, or end-of-life care. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation cannot provide assistance for true emergency situations where funds are needed immediately. However, an applicant may apply for a grant up to 30 days after a procedure. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation provides grants to: -Families that are unable to afford necessary veterinary care and are in need of financial assistance to keep their dog healthy and in their home. -Rescue groups and shelters with a dog who need urgent medical care before they can be made available for adoption To apply, please visit: www.bowwowbuddies.com ==================== FRANKIE'S FRIENDS FUND Website: www.frankiesfriends.org/national-frankies-friends-fund Frankie's Friends Fund provides financial assistance grants to family owned pets in need of lifesaving emergency or specialty veterinary care whose caregivers cannot afford the full cost of treatment. This program is designed to help with the treatment of emergency and specialty medical conditions where the pet would otherwise suffer, be euthanized, or relinquished without proper veterinary care. There is no guarantee that the fund will provide financial assistance so please do not delay care for your pet while waiting for a response on your application. Grants are not guaranteed, and will not exceed $2000.00 per pet, per household. Due to the large volume of applications received, the program is unable to help everyone who applies. Frankie's Friends does not reimburse for payments already made and will not consider reimbursement situations of any kind. All payments are made directly to the treating veterinarian and never to an individual. To apply, please visit: www.frankiesfriends.org/national-frankies-friends-fund ============================= THE MOSBY FOUNDATION Website: themosbyfoundation.org The Mosby Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to assist in the care for critically sick, injured, abused, and neglected dogs through financial support and public education. *Cannot* assist with: 1. Diagnostics, testing , CT scans or x-rays. 2. General and/or routine veterinary care (examples: vaccinations, office visits, blood work, testing, dental cleanings) 3. Treatment that has already been performed. If your pet has already had surgery, been treated, etc., they cannot help with those incurred vet bills. 4. For other situations where veterinary care fund assistance is needed, please complete the application at themosbyfoundation.org ================================= BROWN DOG FOUNDATION Website: www.browndogfoundation.org Brown Dog Foundation is a 501c3 public charity that works with clinics and pet (dog and cat) owners to find the best, most affordable path to saving a pet. Brown Dog seeks to bridge gaps in funding care, instead of donating a portion that leaves an unpaid balance. If Brown Dog cannot bridge the gap to save the pet, they cannot commit to financial assistance. That said, Brown Dog can also sometimes offer educational guidance and referral to lower cost treatment alternatives, creative payment alternatives and/or other programs to help you. Please apply on website here: www.browndogfoundation.org =========================== HOPE MENDING HEARTS Website: www.hopemendinghearts.net The goal of Hope Mending Hearts is to help animals who need immediate veterinary care to survive. Due to the overwhelming number of applications received, the organization unfortunately cannot help everyone. The typical grant is $100 to $200. Decisions are based upon several factors, including: medical urgency, financial need, available funding, pet eligibility and pet owner financial status. Before Hope Mending Hearts grants can be approved, pet owners must first apply for Care Credit. Once an application is submitted online, you can expect to receive a response via e-mail or by phone within one to two business days. Please apply on website here: www.hopemendinghearts.net =========================== PET ASSISTANCE, INC. Website: petassistanceinc.org -Veterinary care subsidies are for urgent or life-threatening emergencies only -PAi financially helps longtime pet owners who have always cared for their pet, yet find they cannot afford an emergency problem. -PAi cannot financially help with new or recently acquired pets, but CAN offer advice and direction. -Grants are made based on urgency, prognosis, and financial need. The owner must contribute to their pet's treatment or surgery. -PAi needs a written estimate from the veterinarian. If the cost is higher than the norm for the procedure, PAi cannot help. -PAi does NOT help with unnecessary blood work, routine care, costly diagnostics (MRIs, CT scans, etc.) or ongoing illness. -PAi does not financially help once a procedure has been done. -PAi aid often comes in the form of guidance, advice and referrals. This alone has saved pet owners thousands of dollars. Please apply on website here: www.petassistanceinc.org/financialaid ============================ ONYX & BREEZY FOUNDATION The foundation can occasionally assist with medical treatment for animals where hardship is present, medication, pet food, spay and neuter, etc. Must apply for Care Credit first.
