The New Day Senior Services In-Home Counseling and Friendly Visitor programs are offered for seniors age 60 years and older in Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Stark, and Fulton counties so that they can continue to live in their own residence and improve their quality of life. New Day Senior Services also provides training in the community on mental health issues to seniors and other professionals who work with older adults.

The counseling services address individual concerns and family dynamics, crisis intervention, parent education, advocacy, and community outreach. The goals of the program are to keep families together who are still intact and to reunify families whose children are youth in care. The Graham Health System mental/behavioral health care staff includes Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP), a Licensed Clinical Practice Counselor (LCPC), and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). These professionals provide support to adults, teens, and children seeking diagnosis, short or long-term treatment (including medication, when appropriate), and management of mental and emotional health challenges. Resource Link offers guidance on finding mental health care providers, including those outside of the OSF network, who serve children and adolescents. This service is open to the general public. The program also offers mental health training to physicians and staff, physician to physician consultation, and care coordination.

Since 1983, Freedom House has provided a safe and free haven for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. It serves the residents of Bureau, Henry, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark Counties in Illinois and is supported by public, corporate, and private funds.
