1. Office of State Guardian (OSG) Substituted Decision-Maker:

2. Legal Advocacy Service (LAS)--Legal Assistance for Persons with Disabilities:
*Acts as legal advocate for those with mental health conditions to protect their mental health rights
*Handles appeals of civil mental health court cases
*Educates the public on mental health rights
*Assists with advanced directives (Living Will, Mental Health Treatment Preference Declaration, Power of Attorney for Health Care, and Practitioner Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST)
3. Human Rights Authority (HRA)--Citizens Helping Citizens:
Assists those whose human rights have been violated in treatment/assisted-living facilities and other settings
*Investigates the complaints of disability rights violations that involve-
-A person with a disability (any age, any type of disability)
-Disability rights protected by law, regulations, or policies
-A disability service provider
Anyone can file a complaint by contacting the Commission or filing an online complaint
4. Special Education Initiative: A Collaboration of LAS and HRA:
*Created to help families navigate special education through training, advocacy, and legal support

Cordoba Healthcare works with local doctors, nurses, community volunteers, and students to provide a free specialty medical clinic model. Areas of specialization include cardiology, gastroenterology and liver, nephrology (kidney disease), pulmonary, basic dental services (depending on situation), and more. Cordoba collaborates with Heartland Health Services and local hospitals to receive referrals for specialty treatment, but also accepts self-referrals from patients. Caregiver Connections at Children's Home provides professional development for early childhood caregivers.
Caregiver Connections provides consultation and education for early childhood educators and caregivers. Children's Home staff provide professional development, trainings, referrals, and mental health support to help equip centers with knowledge about how to handle children with questionable or concerning behaviors.

The Healthier Homes Initiative is a no-cost program providing eligible Ameren Illinois residential customers with home upgrades and minor repairs to improve safety, comfort, indoor air quality and overall home health. Eligible customers may receive energy efficiency improvements to their home such as air sealing, insulation, lighting replacement, ventilation and moisture control measures, and other safety measures. Upgrades and minor repairs are based on an assessment conducted by qualified contractors.
