Women's Care Center is faith-based organization that offers free, confidential counseling, support, and education to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Services include confirmation of pregnancy and ultrasounds, but the center does not provide ongoing prenatal care or abortions. In addition to the listed services, the Women's Care Center offers the following program: Crib Club/BABE The Crib Club/BABE program provides cribs, diapers, clothing and other baby items under an incentive system that rewards participation in parenting classes, prenatal care and other programs. Coupons are provided which can be redeemed at the Crib Club stores.

You can receive help from Smart Start at no cost if: -You are pregnant or have an infant under age 1, and -You live in Peoria County, and -You qualify under the state's income guidelines How does Smart Start work? The Smart Start team will work with clients to help them determine the services they need and then assist them in connecting with the service providers. No transportation? No problem. Smart Start case managers do home visits Monday through Friday. *Smart Start can potentially assist their clients with cribs, pack 'n plays, and car seats.

Through its Project Safe Sleep Program, Sudden Infant Death Services (SIDS) of Illinois offers the Crib Referral service. Clients in need of a crib can be referred to SIDS of IL by any healthcare professional, faith-based organization, family case management entity, etc. Please note that the application MUST come from such a provider. Also, it should be confirmed that the client's Medicaid plan does not offer such a service. For example, Illinois Medicaid providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Meridian have historically covered a crib or Cribette.
