The benefit amount will be credited to the households primary winter heating source (gas vs. electric). The program can also occasionally assist with emergency furnace repair/replacement. ================================= 2026-27 LIHEAP LIHEAP runs October 1, 2026 to August 13, 2027, or until funding is exhausted.
