Peoria Jobs Partnership is a Christian mentoring program for people who might be experiencing problems getting gainful employment. For the general public, there is the Community Program. The curriculum includes 12 classes, taught by different community professionals over a 12-week period. Students are required to complete homework for each class, and are awarded a certificate of completion at the end of the program. The Community Program allows students access to great instructor/ practitioners, and allows them contacts with community leaders that can act as advocates for them when they seek employment. Additional programs, such as Solar Training and the Fresh Start Workshop, are offered for individuals with a felony in their background and those re-entering society from incarceration. The Salvation Army Canton & Fulton County 360 Life Center offers a variety of services for Fulton County residents in need. This location partners with Loving Bottoms to offer diapers, wipes, period kits including pads and tampons, as well as adult diapers and bed pads. In addition to their many usual services, The Salvation Army is also offering flood clean-up kits/buckets for those affected by the August 2026 flood.

The Living Room Program at Trillium Place Crisis Center, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides 24/7 walk in mental health services for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. Services offered include support by certified recovery specialists, assistance with problem solving and goal settings, crisis intervention and safety planning, linkage to referrals, such as food, housing and healthcare services, and healthy refreshments. Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not-for-profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.

Mother's War On Violence is a 501c3 organization and a podcast hosted by Yolanda Wallace, an Urbana native who lives in Peoria, Illinois. Yolanda lost her son, Jon Buckley, to gun violence in 2006. Her organization and the accompanying podcast aim to help prevent community violence. The podcast is a co-production of WCBU Peoria Public Radio.

Cordoba Healthcare works with local doctors, nurses, community volunteers, and students to provide a free specialty medical clinic model. Areas of specialization include cardiology, gastroenterology and liver, nephrology (kidney disease), pulmonary, basic dental services (depending on situation), and more. Cordoba collaborates with Heartland Health Services and local hospitals to receive referrals for specialty treatment, but also accepts self-referrals from patients. The Arc of Illinois Family-to-Family Health Information Center works with families and professionals to assist with questions and concerns related to the health of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and disabilities under the age of 22. The Information Center can answer questions regarding Medicaid, SSI, insurance, Medicaid waivers, disability programs, special education, and anything else related to a child’s health or disability.

In Marshall County, MSW Projects' Meals on Wheels program delivers to Lacon, Toluca, Henry, Varna, Sparland, and Wenona. In Stark County, the service delivers to Bradford, Wyoming, Toulon, and LaFayette. In Woodford County, MSW Projects delivers to Low Point, Metamora, Roanoke, and Washburn. There are two congregate meal sites in Stark County: Bradford and Toulon.

North Central Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is a non-profit behavioral health care organization serving La Salle, Bureau, Marshall, Putnam, Fulton, McDonough, and Grundy counties.

The Fulton County Health Department administers the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for the county. LIHEAP provides energy assistance for eligible low income families in which a benefit is paid directly to the utility companies on behalf of eligible households, or directly to renters if the utility costs are included in their rent. The benefit amount will be credited to the households primary winter heating source (gas vs. electric). The program can also occasionally assist with emergency furnace repair/replacement. ================================= 2026-27 LIHEAP LIHEAP runs October 1, 2026 to August 13, 2027, or until funding is exhausted. The Fulton County Health Department, as administrator of the Energy Assistance Program in Fulton County, announces that as of October 1, funds are available to assist income-eligible households with their natural gas, propane and/or electric bills and furnace assistance for inoperable heating system The program will begin taking applications on October 1, 2026 for older adults (60 years +), individuals with a disability, families with children age 5 years and under, AND households that are disconnected from their utilities, have a disconnection notice, or have less than 25% in their propane tank. All other income eligible households can start applying November 1, 2026. Applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis through August 13, 2027, or until funding is exhausted. Households that receive a one-time benefit may return during the program year for a Reconnection Assistance or Furnace Assistance benefit(s), if needed. The program has expanded eligibility this year. Households that are customers of Ameren Illinois, ComEd, Nicor Gas, North Shore Gas and Peoples Gas must be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to receive a benefit from LIHEAP. The income guidelines are as follows:1- $3,990, 2- $5,410, 3- $6,830, 4- $8,250. Households that are customers of federal funded utilities/energy vendors must be at or below 60% of the State Median Income to receive a benefit from LIHEAP. The 30=day income guidelines for LIHEAP are based on either Federal Poverty Guidelines or State Median Income, and the number of persons living in the household. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides one-time benefits to income eligible homeowners and renters to help with energy bills and for reconnection of energy service. Propane customers who are part of the priority group are encouraged to apply when the program opens in October. Propane prices typically increase during the winter months so by applying early propane customers will see their LIHEAP benefit go further.
