The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund is a program of the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (IRAEF) that offers emergency assistance to Illinois food and beverage workers facing an unanticipated hardship within the past 90 days such as: accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. If you are in need of assistance, please complete the online application form. All grant requests will be reviewed. The IRAEF Restaurant Employee Relief Fund grants are awarded to eligible individuals based on available funds and limited to one per individual. Grants cover costs of living expenses for life-altering events and range from $250-$3,000.

Juvenile offenders are given the opportunity to make restitution, connect with the community, and receive needed services and support. Peoria Friendship House works in tandem with various organizations to provide aid to juvenile offenders via referral sources such as the Peoria Police Department Station Adjustments, Peoria Public Schools discipline referrals, and Peoria County Probation Informal Supervision.

Law requires pet owners provide the basic necessities to prevent suffering for their animal companions. Animals must receive: -Adequate food -Continuous water -Shelter and protection from the weather -Medical care to prevent suffering Other signs an animal may be suffering include matted hair, overgrown nails, constant confinement in a crate, locked in a car on a hot day, or injuries that are not treated. What is cruelty? PCAPS characterizes cruelty as intentional behavior meant to harm or kill an animal including participating in dog fights; hitting, beating, kicking, or abusing an animal; or any act that causes harm to a domestic animal.
