Trillium Place provides comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder services. Mental health outpatient services include counseling, community-based services, and psychiatry. Substance use disorder programs include inpatient, outpatient, medication assisted treatment, and detoxification services. The Salvation Army is an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. It offers numerous assistance programs for those in need. ------------------ 2025-26 Warming & Cooling Center Information: Open as a warming center when the temperatures fall below freezing. The Salvation Army's building is at 243 Derby St. in Pekin, and The Pekin Outreach Initiative is housed on the East Side of this building. The Pekin Outreach Initiative portion is open from 11am-4pm, Monday through Sunday, for people to drop in and warm up. The Salvation Army shelter in the gym at the same location is open overnight 5pm-10:30am, Monday through Sunday, for warming. Usually limited to 10-15 people at most for this purpose.

Blood Cancer United is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. The OSF Strive Trauma Recovery Program provides trauma-informed therapy, case management, and legal advocacy services for individuals age 6 and up in Peoria County who are survivors of, witnesses to, or family members of survivors (or victims in cases of murder) of violent crime. Services are offered at several locations, including OSF Hospital and Emergency Department, OSF Outpatient office (214Pecan St., Peoria 61602), Manual Academy (and some other Peoria Public Schools), Wrap-Around Center in Trewyn, and in homes and other locations as needed.
