ADDWC offers a variety of residential services which promote independent living and are based upon an individual's needs. Twenty-four supports are offerered in a small, group home setting (4-8 individuals). For those who wish to remain in their home, staff can provide intermittent supports including assistance with banking, shopping, community access and daily living skills. All residential services are funded through the Department of Human Services.

The Woodford County Veterans Assistance Commission (VAC) is operated by and for U.S. veterans. VAC officers work with veterans and dependents to determine their entitled benefits and file claims with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. VAC officers guide applicants through the entire process and fight to ensure a fair review of all claims. The Veterans Assistance Commission's programs are considered emergency and interim financial assistance programs and should not be considered as an ongoing financial supportive program. All assistance provided by the VAC is predicated on an established standard of need as set forth by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). It is not the intent of either the Commission or the County to provide assistance either less than or in excess of the levels of assistance adopted by IDHS.

Through its Project Safe Sleep Program, Sudden Infant Death Services (SIDS) of Illinois offers the Crib Referral service. Clients in need of a crib can be referred to SIDS of IL by any healthcare professional, faith-based organization, family case management entity, etc. Please note that the application MUST come from such a provider. Also, it should be confirmed that the client's Medicaid plan does not offer such a service. For example, Illinois Medicaid providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Meridian have historically covered a crib or Cribette.

Paid opportunities to build work skills include some of these skill areas: -following a schedule -learning a task from beginning to end -keeping track of your time/production -dealing with production speed-up/slow-downs -operating within the safety parameters set by a supervisor -getting to work on time -complying with work rules -learning how to work with others Even people with serious limitations can learn a job and find satisfaction and increased feelings of self worth by having employment. Trillium Place on Hamilton, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides walk-in substance use disorder and mental health disorder assessments Monday through Friday from 8am-2pm for residential, outpatient, and medication assisted treatment programs. Other services provided at this location include outpatient substance use disorder counseling, DUI evaluation services, and outpatient mental health counseling. The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund is a program of the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (IRAEF) that offers emergency assistance to Illinois food and beverage workers facing an unanticipated hardship within the past 90 days such as: accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. If you are in need of assistance, please complete the online application form. All grant requests will be reviewed. The IRAEF Restaurant Employee Relief Fund grants are awarded to eligible individuals based on available funds and limited to one per individual. Grants cover costs of living expenses for life-altering events and range from $250-$3,000.
