The Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) provides financial and budget planning information. Specifically, to repair credit problems, home purchasing, spending vs. savings issues, tuition assistance, utility cost relief, and more. The FOC tailors’ the unique financial situation of citizens to the resources required to make a financial “Fresh Start.” The program, supported by LISC, helps low-to-moderate income families and individuals achieve financial stability by implementing the integrated services approach. This approach is a new way to offer four core services: 1. Financial coaching and education to help build assets 2. Employment and career development 3. Better access to public benefits 4. Life skills training This strategy creates new opportunities for individuals and helps connect employers to well-prepared workers. Open to all Peoria and Tri-County residents.

The Heartland Health Services Mobile Health Center offers psychiatric and substance use services in Peoria and Pekin. For psychiatric services, the mobile center focuses on psychiatric medication management, but can refer into the main Heartland Health Services provider network for mental health counseling. For substance use services, the center includes both a counseling component and the option of medication assisted recovery. Details will be forthcoming on upcoming events where the center will be stationed.

Areas of specialization include cardiology, gastroenterology and liver, nephrology (kidney disease), pulmonary, basic dental services (depending on situation), and more. Cordoba collaborates with Heartland Health Services and local hospitals to receive referrals for specialty treatment, but also accepts self-referrals from patients.
