The Children's Home Association offers behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents, as well as services to the family. Any youth between the ages of 3-20 years old in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties with emotional and behavioral challenges and who are Medicaid eligible can receive in-home therapy. Therapists work closely with the youth to reduce emotional stress and improve interpersonal relationships at home, school, and in the community. Goals are addressed and managed through assessment and diagnosis, individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and psychiatric services as appropriate.

CARES stands for Crisis and Referral Entry Services. The program handles mental health crisis calls for children and youth in Illinois. CARES links parents, caregivers, or callers to a special screening, assessment and support program known as SASS. CARES will ask questions about the child's behavior. Then CARES will either send the local SASS to see you and your child or refer you to mental health or other services. If the child or adolescent is in immediate danger, please 911 instead.

The Arc of Illinois offers the Assistive Technology Program for persons with intellectual/ developmental disabilities who have received an evaluation/assessment from a qualified provider but the assistive technology purchase is not subsidized by Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance. The maximum amount funded will be $500.00 per person or family. In order to help more people, the program can only fund one device or type of software.

Legal Advocacy Service (LAS)--Legal Assistance for Persons with Disabilities: *Acts as legal advocate for those with mental health conditions to protect their mental health rights *Handles appeals of civil mental health court cases *Educates the public on mental health rights *Assists with advanced directives (Living Will, Mental Health Treatment Preference Declaration, Power of Attorney for Health Care, and Practitioner Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) 3. The Breastfeeding Resource Center offers a variety of services and support programs to make breastfeeding work for moms and families. Donor breast milk is available for purchase at the OSF Breastfeeding Resource Center. All breast milk has been pasteurized and is safe for your baby. And, in collaboration with the Mothers' Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes, donor breast milk is also available in an emergency. Emergency donor milk can be purchased 24/7 at the Labor and Delivery Triage Desk on the fifth floor at OSF Saint Francis, (530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, Illinois 61637).

Community Needs Agency in Chillicothe is an all-volunteer resource center that serves residents of Illinois Valley Central School District 321 (Chillicothe, Rome, Mossville area). All programs and services are income-based.
