Then CARES will either send the local SASS to see you and your child or refer you to mental health or other services. If the child or adolescent is in immediate danger, please 911 instead.

The program provides financial aid grants of up to $1,500 to assist with basic life needs in the form of a grant - not a loan - so no repayment is required.
