As our community give back each spring AGSF plants their Freedom Garden. All produce is distributed to local veterans through American Legions, AmVets, Navy/Marine Club, VFW, Veterans Pub and Pizza and to homeless veterans through the Salvation Army. National outreach for America’s Gold Star Families includes our Children’s Greeting Card Program. We send birthday cards along with a $20 gift card to over 500 children of the fallen across the USA. AGSF partnered with the Sgt. Anthony R. Maddox Memorial to host the first Fallen Heroes Tree of Honor erected in the Illinois State Capitol, Springfield, Illinois. The Western Illinois Dreamers Peoria Welcome Center acts as a hub for immigrants and refugees to connect with community resources, receive guidance on their rights, and navigate the many unique aspects of their experience.

DRS works in partnership with people with disabilities and their families to assist them in making informed choices to achieve full community participation through employment, education, and independent living opportunities.

The Addiction Recovery Center at Carle Health Proctor Hospital provides a comprehensive range of substance use disorder services. The Addiction Recovery Center offers inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for adults aged 18 and older. Programs include withdrawal management, medically monitored inpatient, partial hospitalization (with and without boarding), outpatient, early intervention, and medication assisted recovery. Services are also available for adults with behavioral addictions such as compulsive gambling, food, sexual addiction, internet, video game, shopping/spending and chronic pain with addiction.

Trillium Place Crisis Center, an affiliate of Carle Health, assists individuals in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder related crisis. Proudly affiliated with Carle Health, Trillium Place is a not for profit organization originally formed in April 2019 by joining UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services, the Human Service Center, and Tazwood Center for Wellness. With locations in Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Lincoln, and Eureka, Trillium Place provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services.
