Illinois Telecommunication Access Corporation (ITAC) administers a program to ensure equal access to communication for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Through the use of a voucher program, anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing can obtain a free TTY, CapTel or amplified phone. Advocates for Access serves as a selection site for these phones.

The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is for families with children and pregnant women who need temporary cash assistance. Those receiving TANF also receive medical assistance. Most TANF families also receive SNAP benefits to buy food.

The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is a nonprofit serving people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Callers receive personalized information about multiple sclerosis and connections to local and national resources related to MS. Service coordinators and peer counselors can talk through needs, answer questions, and help find the right support. Through the helpline, people with MS can also learn about and apply for a variety of support programs (eligibility usually requires an MS diagnosis), such as *Emergency Assistance Grant -- financial help for urgent needs like rent or utility bills (documentation required) *Healthcare Assistance Grant -- helps uninsured individuals pay for neurologist or dental visits *Homecare Assistance Grant – short-term homecare, caregiver respite, therapy services *Transportation Assistance Grant – funding for paratransit or rides to medical appointments (Lyft/Uber) and minor car repairs *Assistive Technology Program – info and partial funding for devices that aid daily living (e.g., canes, adaptive tech) *Computer Program – provides computers to help people with MS stay connected. *Cooling Program – cooling vests and accessories for heat sensitivity. In addition, the helpline can connect callers to peer counseling, advice on local support groups, and online communities.

Carle Health Methodist Atrium-Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic provides outpatient psychiatric and mental health services for adults and adolescents.

The Gateway Foundation's Peoria location provides outpatient psychiatric care and substance use treatment (and linkage with/transportation to inpatient treatment at their other Illinois locations) for people age 18+. Additionally, the location offers mental health services to patients who may require individual therapy or medication management, regardless of whether or not they have a substance use condition.

Trillium Place East Peoria, an affiliate of Carle Health, provides assessments and outpatient services for mental health and substance use disorders for adults and adolescents. Henry County Public Transportation provides demand response (transportation by appointment), curb to curb service throughout Henry, Stark, and Western Bureau Counties. The Children's Advocacy Center is a safe, comfortable facility where children can discuss the abuse in a compassionate, non-threatening, and child-friendly environment. We work together as a team with law enforcement, child protection agencies, prosecution, advocates, counselors, and medical professionals to evaluate and investigate cases of child abuse while reducing the trauma to children and families.

In addition to standard medical costs, Medicaid can cover various forms of dental work, fillings, and dentures; hearing aids; glasses; and more.

Capital Good Fund, a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), provides small, fixed-rate loans and financial coaching to eligible individuals and families in Illinois. Loan products may include auto repair, emergency, immigration-related expenses, home energy efficiency and safety project, and personal loans. This program offers loans, not grants, and repayment is required. Approval is subject to eligibility and underwriting. This service may be appropriate for individuals who are unable to access traditional banking options and are seeking an alternative to high-cost or predatory loans.
