Peoria Jobs Partnership is a Christian mentoring program for people who might be experiencing problems getting gainful employment.
For the general public, there is the Community Program. The curriculum includes 12 classes, taught by different community professionals over a 12-week period.
Students are required to complete homework for each class, and are awarded a certificate of completion at the end of the program. The Community Program allows students access to great instructor/ practitioners, and allows them contacts with community leaders that can act as advocates for them when they seek employment.
Additional programs, such as Solar Training and the Fresh Start Workshop, are offered for individuals with a felony in their background and those re-entering society from incarceration. Solar Training is also offered for individuals raised in foster care.
